Welcome to New York City! The city that never sleeps and that most recently, in a stunning turn of events, has adopted the climate of its upstate NY neighbors. What is with this crazy weather? Polar Vortex...50 degree weather...Polar vortex and 12 inches of snow. I thought when I graduated from my upstate college I wouldn't have to deal with snow days anymore. Guess again, Ceri. Guess again (insert maniacal laughter)!
Aside from the wack-a-doo weather, I have the amazing announcement to make that I've finally finished the edits to A Different Kind of Perfect. It was with great pride and relief that I hit the send button on those changes. All changes for the better, I think. This week I'm working on my author's page bio for Siren-Bookstrand. I find it hard to talk about myself most of the time so this will probably be more challenging than the actual writing of the novel that lead to this necessity.
In other news, I have sent off my first batch of boxes to California. The move is in less than two months and every day I get more excited/freaked out. Essentially, this is how I feel:
